In a large skirmish, reach is usually the deciding factor. Whether you are holding a bridge or supporting the front line from the second rank, a good polearm changes the dynamic of the fight. At Epic Armoury, we design our foam polearms to give you that tactical advantage without the drawbacks usually associated with long weapons.
We know the two biggest complaints about this weapon type: they are either too "whippy" to control, or they are a nightmare to fit in a car. We tackled both problems head-on. The Compact Solution: Transport Made Easy
If you have ever tried to fit a two-meter halberd into a hatchback, you know the struggle. It usually ends with the weapon sticking out of a window. That’s why we introduced our Compact Spear System.
This design uses a high-strength bolt mechanism that allows you to separate the weapon into two manageable pieces. It’s a rugged solution that lets you transport a full-length medieval polearm in a standard trunk or travel bag. When you arrive at the event, you just bolt it together. It locks up tight—solid enough that you won’t even feel the joint during combat.
Built to Stay Straight
The most important feature of any long weapon is the core. If the core is too thin, a 190cm spear feels like a wet noodle when you try to swing it. We use thick, high-grade fiberglass cores that offer the right balance of flex and stiffness. This ensures that when you aim a Glaive or a Spear, the tip goes exactly where you want it to, not three inches to the left.

To keep your weapon looking its best, remember that long weapons often touch the ground. A quick wipe-down and a spray of Protection Gel will keep the latex flexible and prevent the tip from drying out after a weekend in the mud.
