If you are dissatisfied with a product, you may request a refund within 30 days of receiving the item. The product must be returned in its original condition. You are responsible for return shipping costs and are advised to retain proof of postage. Jack Chains

Epic Armoury’s Jack Chains are lightweight arm plates made to sit on top of a gambeson or arming jacket. You get solid base protection against slashes and impacts, while keeping your arms free to move. The look also adds a clear late medieval feel to an outfit without adding heavy bulk.

Tie the plates onto your gambeson using arming point laces, so the fit stays stable during runs, fights, and long event days. The plates use 1 mm mild steel, with top-grain leather straps and fittings. With normal leather and metal armour care, this set holds up well for LARP and reenactment use.

HISTORY
The “jack” in jack chains refers to the padded arming jacket worn under plate elements. In 15th and 16th century Europe, armour pieces often attached to a gambeson using arming points, which is the same system used in this design.
